These Bill Manager Terms (“Bill Manager Terms”) are a contract and explain important things you should know about Bill Manager, which is a recurring bill and subscription management solution that we make available to you.
We want you to completely understand Bill Manager, and you should read these Bill Manager Terms carefully before accessing or using Bill Manager. By using Bill Manager, you agree to these Bill Manager Terms, which together with the DailyPay Terms of Service (“Terms of Service”) available at https://www.dailypay.com/en-us/legal/terms-of-service/ and those additional terms and conditions referenced herein, govern your use of Bill Manager. Please read these Bill Manager Terms and the Terms of Service carefully.
Bill Manager helps you simplify management of your recurring payments on your DailyPay Visa® Prepaid Card (“DailyPay Card”), accounts at financial institutions with which you have customer relationship, and merchants with which you conduct financial transactions (collectively “Accounts”). It allows you to keep track of your subscriptions and other recurring bills, including when they are due. Bill Manager also can assist you in cancelling subscriptions you no longer want. Bill Manager can help you manage your recurring payments and subscriptions in one place by switching them to your DailyPay Card. Bill Manager’s standard functionality is provided to you at no cost. Optional premium features of Bill Manager, such as calendar sync of recurring payments with your calendar, reminders for upcoming renewals, and one-click cancellation, are available only to the DailyPay Card holders who elect direct deposit to the DailyPay Card.
Some of the Bill Manager functionality is provided by third-party service providers (“Service Providers”). We use ScribeUp Technologies Inc. (“ScribeUp”), a Service Provider, to identify your recurring payments and subscriptions. By accepting these Bill Manager Terms, you expressly consent to us sharing your name and email address on your DailyPay account as well as your DailyPay Card transaction information with ScribeUp to provide Bill Manager to you. Upon your acceptance of these Bill Manager Terms, Bill Manager will track your recurring payments on your DailyPay Card. You may also choose to connect external accounts to Bill Manager to be scanned for recurring charges. If you elect to do so, ScribeUp may use Plaid, Inc. (“Plaid”), a financial data aggregator and Service Provider, to gather your financial data from the relevant financial institutions for such external accounts. We may engage other Service Providers as necessary for purposes of providing, enhancing or improving Bill Manager, or any other lawful purpose.
Certain Bill Manager features offered to you may require you to provide us, and our Service Providers, log-in information such as passwords, usernames, PINs, and other credentials, including any multi-factor authentication information (collectively, your “Credentials”) to access your Accounts.
You authorize our Service Providers to use your Credentials to access your Accounts to obtain transaction and billing information (“Account Information”) necessary to provide the Bill Manager services described herein.
You represent that you are the legal owner of your Credentials and Account Information and that you are authorized to grant our Service Providers the right to use your Credentials and Account Information to show you upcoming recurring charges from third-party providers and to connect your external financial accounts to Bill Manager. You grant us these rights without any obligation by us to pay any fees on your behalf and without us being subject to any other limitations on providing Bill Manager to you.
You authorize our Service Providers to use your Credentials and access your Account Information as your attorney-in-fact and agent to manage recurring charges at your direction on your behalf. You grant our Service Providers a limited power of attorney to access third-party providers’ sites and web applications, obtain and use your Account Information with the full power and authority to do so, and do each and every thing we or they believe necessary pursuant to your direction, as you could do yourself, to provide Bill Manager. You also authorize our Service Providers to obtain Account Information from third-party providers, including financial institutions and merchants, when using your Credentials.
You may connect your external financial accounts to Bill Manager to be scanned by our Service Providers for recurring charges from third-party providers. You will need to provide to our Service Providers the necessary Credentials to link your external financial accounts. For each external financial account that you choose to have linked to Bill Manager, you agree to provide our Service Providers with the Credentials. You represent that you are the legal owner of such external financial accounts and that you are authorized to share your Credentials with our Service Providers to connect such external financial accounts to Bill Manager. By providing your Credentials, you direct us and our Service Providers to use them to connect your external financial accounts to Bill Manager so that we could provide Bill Manager to you.
Bill Manager allows you to switch payment for your recurring bills and subscriptions to your DailyPay Card. Bill Manager also helps facilitate your cancellation of unwanted subscriptions that may be cancelled. When you request that Bill Manager take these actions, you authorize our Service Providers to contact the merchant or third-party providers as your attorney-in-fact and agent in order to either cancel your subscription on your behalf, or switch the payment for your subscription to the DailyPay Card on your behalf. Our Service Providers will provide account verification details, including your name, postal mail and email addresses, account number, payment verification, security code or other security credentials, and other information to validate your account with the merchant and proceed with the cancellation or updating the payment method to the DailyPay Card, as applicable. If it is necessary for our Service Providers to represent to the merchant that they are the account holder in seeking cancellation or updating payment method, you consent to such representation under the agency authority described herein and for the sole purpose of Bill Manager.
You agree and acknowledge that:
We may use, store and share your Credentials and Account Information in accordance with the Terms of Service, these Bill Manager Terms and our Privacy Policy. We may use your Account Information to improve our services, to research and develop new products and services, and otherwise in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Our Service Providers may also use, store and share your Credentials and Account Information in accordance with their terms of service and privacy policies.
